Nap mat cover for pk and kindergarten

little girl is going to pk3. I am here with the result.

The mean of this post is to inspire you. I did not use any pattern. I made the nap mat cover.

To make this nap mat cover, I needed:

fabric 1: 38 "x 45" plus seam allowance for the mat cover;

fabric 1 and 2 (30 "x 42") each for the blanket;

cotton quilt batting 30 "x 42" for blanket,

fabric 1: 12 "x 16" plus seam allowance for the pillow case attached to the cover.

1 "bias for 3 sides of the blanket edge.

the longest part was to make the quilted blanket. Then I prepared the pillow case.

I pin all three (blanket, blanket and pillow case) and sewed. Then I used some extra fabric to make the straps and the handle.

Unfortunately I did not capture as I was making it.. But here is a video of the end result. Hopefully next time I will record I show you step by step how.
